What people are saying
FAQs
-
We do not use a standardized curriculum for our individual coaching. Each person’s job search experience, what they are really good at and what they need support on differs. Our goal is to meet people where they are and create customized coaching to support your journey. Of course, if you do not know where to start we have a good game plans.
-
You determine the frequency of the sessions. Some people who are full time on the search like to meet weekly, some people prefer biweekly meetings, other like to reserve a session for when they need it. We can work together to find times to meet that work for your schedule and needs.
-
There is a dotted line between NRG’s recruitment services and coaching services. For recruitment services, we work with the organization to identify strong candidates and project manage the search. It is up to the organization to evaluate candidates and determine who they would like to hire. Our coach supports candidates in their personal searches which sometimes includes applying for roles NRG is supporting.
-
No, generally in the nonprofit and mission driven space do not work with recruiters to place candidates in roles. Our coach supports candidates as they apply for roles. We support resume feedback, interview preparation, networking strategy & support, as well as goal setting and accountability to keep people moving toward their goal of finding a new role. We empower you to have a successful search.
-
Our career coaching is really focused on practical advice and support for people who are actively applying for roles. With a background in recruitment for nonprofits, movement organizations and electoral work we have a deep understanding of the mission driven space.
