Tell us about your job search experience

This week, I’m convinced that everyone is on vacation. If you are reading this, I hope that you are somewhere pleasant while reading this or you are enjoying a relaxing end of summer and still feeling all of the vacay vibes.

I spend a lot of time talking to both clients and people on the job hunt. This week, I decided that I wanted you to do the talking.

We created a survey about your job search experience. I want to know the good, the bad, the ugly, and the energizing. It’s all multiple choice except for a question at the end where you get to talk to me directly. It’s just about your experience and should only take 2 minutes.

We will keep your information anonymous and we’ll use it to improve our own hiring practices at NRG. I’ll also use this data to encourage clients to make the best hiring process decisions–decisions that make your life easier and better.

music league

If you missed the announcement on August 9th, you can still sign up for Music League. This league is only for the NRG Talent Network and readers of the Get Hired newsletter.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Every four days there is a new category, e.g., Best Breakup Song, One Hit Wonders, Girrl Power, etc.

  2. Add your song choice before the deadline. You must have a Spotify account.

  3. Then, Music League generates a playlist you can listen to on Spotify. Everyone votes for the best songs on the playlist. When you vote, you can’t see who nominated which song. It’s completely anonymous.

  4. After everyone votes, you can see who got the most votes and who nominated which song. Everyone gets new playlists in the process. If this sounds up your alley, join us.

Our first category is: Chill Out. Don’t we all need to chill out before summer is over?

Deadline: Monday, 8/28, at 5pm PDT
