End of summer update: NRG jobs + coaching program

I hope you’re enjoying the end of summer and back to school time! I'm excited for kids to get back into the classroom and all the new beginnings that come with the start of a new year (Shana Tovah), new season and new school year.

For this week’s newsletter, I want to highlight the 72 roles NRG Consulting Group is looking to fill. I've locked in more new clients in August 2021 than I have in any other month of the year, which tells me that organizations are looking to hire! Most (but not all) roles have a $500 referral bonus, so please share this list far and wide.

As we transition to the new year, I also want to remind everyone about NRG’s coaching program. I've teamed up with Sarah Marini Lessin, who I met when we were both hiring organizers to help get Obama elected. Sarah has been leading the NRG Coaching Program since we launched, and we’ve conducted sessions with 32 people so far. Whether you’re just starting your job search or you've been on the hunt for a while, working with and bouncing ideas off of a coach is a great way to hone your skills. We offer three sessions that you can do as a bundle or ad hoc: a mock job interview, telling your personal story, and materials review (resume/LinkedIn). If you’re interested, you can find out more here and schedule a free consultation.

Be sure to check out all 72 jobs NRG is hiring for, but here are the top three jobs we’re featuring this week:

  1. Director of Staff Support and Operations at Chesapeake Climate Action; $70,000-$85,000; Washington, D.C.

  2. Senior Communications Director at Unite America; $100,000-$115,000; Remote.

  3. Operations Associate at New Profit; $80,000+; Boston.

Now, onto housekeeping!
