These are the places I post my jobs to
I hope everyone is enjoying fall! We tend to go overboard with Halloween decorations at my house, and have been eating and baking our way through the five pounds of apples we hand-picked last weekend.
I wrote way back about the best places to look for jobs, and I think I’m overdue for a follow up. There are obviously zillions of job boards -- big, small and everything in between. When I’m working to get the word out about jobs, most of the ad money goes to LinkedIn. But not all of it.
Here’s a list of other places I always post my jobs to, making them good places to look for jobs as well. Please review this list and let me know what I’m missing! Where do you look for jobs? What posting sites should I know about?
Google Groups:
Radical Communicators Network (for people in comms, including digital)
Demochambas (started as a progressive list for Latinx folks but has expanded)
Black Beltway (started as a D.C.-based list for Black people but has expanded)
Listservs:
Progressive Exchange (they also discuss digital strategy here)
Inclusv (for people of color only)
Facebook groups:
Websites:
LinkedIn (nothing beats this as a site)
Here are the top three jobs we’re featuring this week:
